Jermaine Johnson, MS, LMFT Vice President, Community Based Services
Jermaine H. Johnson is YFT’s Assistant Vice President for Community Based Services. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist who holds a B.S. in Psychology from James Madison University, and an M.S. in Human Development with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from Virginia Tech. He has been with YFT for 6 years, rounding out 30+ years of working with children, adults and families.
Jermaine’s previous years include experience working in psychiatric residential treatment programs, residential treatment settings, and juvenile corrections. He has served on the Executive Committee for the Virginia Association of Licensed Child Placing Agencies, Virginia Coalition of Private Providers Association Executive Committee, Family Focused Treatment Association Virginia Chapter Chair, Family Focused Treatment Association State Legislative Liaison, and Family Focused Treatment Association Board of Directors. Jermaine currently serves as the Northern Virginia Coalition of Associations President, and is a member of the Fauquier County and City of Manassas Community Policy and Management Team.
