School Offers Trip to Culpeper for Dinner, Shopping

By Hieu Ngoc Pham ’20

Last Saturday, the school offered two trips for shopping and dinner: one to Culpeper and the other to Stonefield in Charlottesville. But, after the late start to the football game, the school canceled the Charlottesville trip, as the bus would be returning too late. Despite that, the boys–along with chaperones Mr. Hogan and Mr. Ellis–had a great time.

The trip provided boys an excellent opportunity to eat out for dinner, restock their snacks, and buy supplies for the next few weeks.

Nick Reeder ’20 said, “I went to Chick-fil-A, Target, and Dick’s [to get dinner], buy [fellow senior] Mpande Sibisi ’20 some food, and get clothes for pep rallies.”

Jake Benslimane ’22 agreed, saying, “The trip was a lot of fun. It was great to be able to check out some new places and meet new people.”
