JV Lacrosse Defeats EHS 6-5

By Will Bartlett ’21

The Woodberry JV Lacrosse team had a hard-fought victory against Episcopal this Wednesday. A strong defense and amazing performance in goal by Ellett Miller held the Maroon to one goal far into the fourth quarter.

The Tiger’s bench held strong against the EHS starters for the last couple of minutes of the fourth quarter, holding on to win 6-5. Goals were scored by Myles Miller, Brice Reid, Asa McManamy, and Hutson Collins. All around, it was a strong performance capitalizing on the extra man offense and holding strong in man-down defense.

The JV Tigers travel to Richmond tomorrow to take on Collegiate. They are now 4-2 on the season.
