JV Indoor Track Holds Intra-Squad Meet

Last Friday, JV indoor track held its first intra-squad meet. For the 55-meter dash, Robert Triplett and Arman Matusack tied with the time of 7.84 seconds. In the 200-meter dash, again Arman Marusack came out on top with a time of 28.18 seconds. In the 300-meter dash, freshman Ashton Porter came in first with a time of 45.53 seconds. In the mile run, freshman Carter Williams won with a time of 5 minutes and 50 seconds. In the long jump, sophomore Rex Hallow had 15 feet and two inches to place in first. For the high jump, Rex Hallow held a height of 4 feet and 10 inches. Finally, for shot put, new boy sophomore Christopher Cecil had 29 feet and one inch. Overall, team black came out on top with a score of 170 points, while team orange had 75. After these very promising results, we look forward to how these athletes can grow and perform at the next level!
